Note to Self: Don't attempt to write when you have a fever and have taken NyQuil.
This past week I've been sick. It turns out I had Covid, but I didn't know it at the time. Just thought it was the flu. I went to the doctor and got a covid test and am now in isolation.
Today was the first day that I actually felt better and I started to catch up on my email. Apparently, while I was sick I tried to write. I must've thought it was good because today I got an email from my beta reader guru asking if I was feeling okay.
Evidently, I'd sent the chapter to her and it was riddled with incoherent half sentences. In my email, to her, I asked her to read through some of my best work.
I apologized to her after reading what I sent and informed her I was sick. Luckily I only sent it to her. Now I have to go back and see what damage I did to my manuscript and pray I didn't try anything else.
